A few things worth knowing

How does a shared kitchen work?

Enchanted includes one additional user with their own verified email, display name and password. Invite them from Shared kitchen in your account settings. They can view and change the same recipes, meals and shopping lists, and use your shared import allowance. Only the owner manages billing and invitations. Joining requires an empty Free account with no import history or active billing. Sharing pauses when the owner's Enchanted access ends. Either person can end sharing; the invited user then has an empty Free account and can never join a shared account again. Shared content stays with the owner.

What happens to my recipes if I cancel?

Your own recipes and website/photo imports stay usable on Free. Saved public recipes are greyed out until you upgrade to Enchanted. This also applies to copies and calendar meals made from public recipes. Cancellation stops future renewal; Enchanted access continues through the period already purchased.

What can I do for free?

Add unlimited manually entered recipes, import 3 website recipes each calendar month, plan and copy meals, cook, generate shopping lists, and print or export. Confirm your email before importing. Photo imports require Enchanted.

When does an import count?

Each successful preview counts once, even if you do not save it. Failed imports and retries of the same submission do not count. Up to three photos of one recipe count as one photo import. No allowance rolls over, and there are no automatic overage charges.

How do monthly and annual allowances work?

Enchanted includes 25 imports each month, shared between websites and photos. Annual subscribers receive the same monthly allowance, not a year's imports at once. Paid allowances reset monthly on the subscription anniversary; Free resets on the first day of each month in UTC. Billing shows the exact reset date.

How are recipes imported?

Website imports first read the publisher's recipe data and use AI when needed, including on Free. Photo imports use AI to read handwriting or print. Always review amounts and instructions before saving. New imports are private until you choose to share them.

How do I change billing frequency?

Cancel your current renewal, keep access through the paid-through date, then choose monthly or annual and approve a new PayPal subscription. We do not start overlapping subscriptions or automatically convert a paid period.

What changes for existing subscribers?

Already-paid periods keep their existing allowance. Existing $3.99 monthly subscriptions move to $2.99 and 25 monthly imports at the lower-price renewal. Billing shows the transition when it is scheduled. Existing complimentary and promotional grants keep their terms.
